Shan Sinha is the founder of Highfive, the video conferencing company that's taking on the $8B team collaboration industry.

But before Highfive, Shan founded a company called DocVerse, the technology of which would become the foundation for Google Drive. 

Yes, THE Google Drive. The one used by 240m people worldwide.

When Google acquired DocVerse for a cool $25m, they hired Shan as a PM. He was Googling out hardcore when realized that video conferencing was an integral part of the Google culture. But the way they were connecting on video was through a hodgepodge of hacked together products.

Shan figured there had to be a better way – a more reliable way – so he left the company to try and figure it out.

That was five years ago. 

These days, Shan and his team of Highfivers serve thousands of customers every day. They're using the $45.4m they've raised to grab a piece of the $8B team collaboration industry, and so far... it's working. Some of their customers include Warby Parker, Evernote, Harry's, and Expensify.
